While you visit us...

PARKING

We do not have any designated parking spots available but there is plenty of unmetered street parking so please give yourself ample time to find parking if you need to. Street cleaning is between 10am and noon on Monday and Tuesdays which can also make parking a little more difficult.

Arrival

We recommend arriving 10 minutes prior to your appointment time to allow yourself time to relax with a refreshment, use the restroom or fill in any required paperwork and not feel rushed before your treatment.

reservation policy

We require a valid credit card or gifts card/certificate to reserve your appointment at Spa Sophia. You may also use another payment method or card at the time of your treatment. Please read through the rest of our policies thoroughly to help avoid the need to pay any penalty fees.

Product Returns

Product returns for exchange or refund are only accepted within 30 days of purchase. Candles and essential oils are not available for refund so please choose carefully.

Courtesy Reminder email or sms

Our system will send you an appointment reminder via email or SMS (you can let us know your preference). You can confirm your appointment through your email or SMS reminder. If your appointment is still unconfirmed 36 hours prior, our front desk team will give you a courtesy call to confirm.

At the Spa

Spa Sophia is a small space and noise carries, please help us keep our lovely, relaxing spa atmosphere by silencing your phone and keeping your voice low in the waiting area and treatment rooms. In consideration of other guests, we encourage you not to bring your little ones along with you if possible. We love pets but our little spa is not the best place for them due to allergies, cleanliness and the comfort of other clients.

late arrival

If you are running late, please call us as soon as you can. We will always try our best to accommodate you but during busy times we can't guarantee that we will be able to take you in late. We may need to reschedule you for later in the day or on another day, late cancellation/rescheduling fees may apply. If you are more than 15 minutes late for a spa service, depending on the service, and you have failed to get in touch with us, our system treats the appointment as a "no show" and the no show penalty fee will apply.

Late Cancellations, reschedules and No-Shows

We have a 24 hour cancellation period, so long as you can get in contact with us approximately 24 hours prior to your appointment, no fees will apply. Cancelling later than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment will result in charges up to the full amount of the service. Our therapists' time is valuable and we want to make sure they are compensated; we thank you for understanding.  Obviously, accidents happen and we totally understand, the more notice that you can give us, the better!
